Resident Evil is not at all boring; for the first hour or so I was incredibly entertained. But, when the stupid and unrealistic zombies came, I was baffled in disbelief. If you can play stupid, and throw away your brain for an hour and forty minutes you'll love this movie; I on the other hand, hated it.

You can base a video game off of a movie just fine, but it doesn't work out when you try to base a movie off of a video game. The actors in this even sounded like they were mimicking a computer; all of their lines were perfectly annunciated and pronounced. If I wanted this I would've played the video game, which I like, but I was looking for a movie; this is something I didn't get.

Judging by the ending, which I won't give away, I will be very interested in the sequel to this entitled Nemesis. Even though the first one that I'm describing now was a total wreck, it leaves a mysterious and twisted ending which lingers upon you for days after you see the film. I will be one of the first to line up at the box office for the second installment in the series, I haven't lost hope yet.

The one aspect that dragged away from this movies impression on me was the unrealistic way things were dealt with. Zombies aren't real, and for that matter, not in the least bit believable. If you want to make a Frankenstein movie go ahead, but if you are going to make a film about mutant dogs that not even a person with serious intelligence is able to figure out, there has to be something seriously wrong with your mind.

Resident Evil is entertaining, but hardly worth watching. Imagination is one thing, but brain deprivation is another. Nothing in this movie was in the least bit believable, and this is because it was based off of a video game. If your bored to death and have nothing else in the world to do, rent it. But if you buy it, you have gone to far; in fact I would even call you sinful. Resident Evil is similar to the song "It Hurts So Good."
